The 15th Russian National Forum “Strategic Planning in the Cities and Regions of Russia” held from 24 to 25 October 2016 in St.-Petersburg. The International Scientific Conference “Regional and Urban Studies for Strategic Planning and Development” was an associated event within the Forum. The organizers of the Conference were the Regional Studies Association (RSA), ICSER “Leontief Center”, the Russian Geographical Society.
Alexander Puzanov, IUE Director General, moderated a panel discussion “Housing Market, Urban Development and Urbanisation” organized with the participation of the Laboratory for the Theory of Markets and Spatial Economics of the National Research University “Higher School of Economics”. Within the framework of the panel discussion, Tatyana Polidi, IUE Execitive Director, made a presentation on “Urban Planning and Economic Modelling for Further Development of Built-Up Areas”.
Alexander Puzanov was also a member of the expert panel at a competition “Mission of a City and Main Strategy Objective” held at the RSA’ Conference.
